Half Fried Potato Production Line
The semi-fried potato production line consists of several stages, starting from preparation and peeling, and ending with packaging, as follows:
Production line stages:
1. Preparation and peeling: in which the potatoes are received from the farms, sorted and classified according to the required size, then the potatoes are peeled and washed, and the peeling waste is separated.
2. Examination: After peeling, the potatoes are inspected visually and manually to ensure their safety and quality
3. Slicing: Potatoes are cut into slices or fingers according to the required shape, and they are responsible for the final shape of the potatoes.
4. Jacuzzi immersion: in which the product is washed with water and air to remove the outer starch layer from the bean and remove any plankton from the peeling process.
5. Automatic sorting: The potato fingers are automatically sorted and any unwanted sizes are removed from the final product, while keeping them in a section designated for re-production as second toast.
6. Boiling: Potatoes are treated with hot water with some safe chemicals to reduce the activity of enzymes to preserve the original color and taste of the potatoes.
7. Drying: The humidity level is reduced so that the potato slices are ready for frying
8. Frying: Potatoes are semi-fried and are considered the process responsible for the texture, color, taste and overall quality of the potato.
9. Freezing: Potatoes pass through a tunnel to freeze until they are ready for the final storage process.
10. Packaging: At the end of the line, the potatoes are weighed as required and packed in bags and wrapped in cartons.
The production line also consists of conveyor belts between the equipment.
